Our Son’s House

My husband and I were thrilled when our son expressed his desire to move out. Don’t get us wrong, we do adore him, but we also adore our own space, and after eighteen years, having him around has gotten to be a bit much.

We are in a privileged financial position, and so we decided we wanted to help our son achieve his goal of moving out by making the process as simple as possible for him. Although my husband does have some knowledge of the property market, the last time either of us purchased property was about a decade ago, so our knowledge is a bit out of date. We both decided we needed an expert to guide us through the buying process. One of our close friends referred us to an online page with buyer’s advocate reviews. Malvern East has several notable buyers advocates, but we settled on the one with the best reviews. After reaching out to him, we received a response almost instantly and were set up with our first meeting.

The buyers advocate we worked with knew almost everything about the Malvern East area, which meant finding a home for our son was a lot easier. He was patient with us, and we appreciated this since we admittedly did have a lot of questions throughout the process. We provided the buyer’s advocate with a list of our son’s requirements and also a profile about him and his interests, just to make it a bit more personal. We thought it would be easier to find a fitting home for him that way.

The buyers advocate also belonged to the buyer’s advocates Melbourne network, which meant he had a network of people to assist him in his search. He was responsive and kept us informed throughout the whole process, which made the process of finding and purchasing a home much more enjoyable than either my husband or I had anticipated. We eventually settled on a lovely home not too far from where we already live, so that our son could be close to places he already knows and could come to us if he ever needed anything. We were so glad we chose to work with buyer’s advocates and recommend them to everybody!
